After seeing the clips of Jeremy Lin's interview in Taiwan, I couldn't help but watch the full video. I understand his gripe and some of these things that he was saying. What is going on with Lin-Manuel Miranda getting hate?

This might be a twitter thing, but I've been seeing tweets hating on Lin-Manuel Miranda and other tweets defending him. This has picked up after the new Disney movie he is doing songs for.
I have zero idea on what he's getting hate for, I've tried to search for a reason but I just can't find a reason.
So what gives?
